AL Rocc One is a Los Angeles native. He bought his first DJ set, with the help of his brother, in 2000. Not knowing where to begin with 2 turntables and a mixer, he went out and bought DJ videos so he could visualize the basics. He also started recording mixes on the radio done by DJ Melo-D, Mr. Choc, and DJ E-Man. With these tools, AL Rocc One quickly progressed as a turntablist. He graduated from being a bedroom DJ, to DJ’ing house parties and private events. He eventually saved up enough money to upgrade his rig. Since then, AL Rocc One has played at different venues across the L.A. area and continues to build a respectable reputation.

With his passion for music, it was inevitable that he started creating it. In 2007, AL Rocc One started producing music. Currently, he is working on a few projects as a DJ, and a producer. He is also the official DJ for The Roxwels. AL Rocc One goes by the philosophy of “patience and persistence”. By sticking to this philosophy, he believes anything can be achieved.
