Working on Blak Laz’s “My City”
Blak Laz’s second single is dropping soon! I was at Truth Studios last night, in Los Angeles, with JQ Lamaj and Glenn the Engineer. “My City” was produced by JQ Lamaj and myself. Glenn provided his skills in mixing. The song was written by Blak Laz and Trouble, with additional vocals by Zshakira. I’m confident that you all will put this song on repeat!!! It’s a “feel good” song that’s just going to make you think, “Man…I’m putting this on repeat like Laker championships!!!” Can’t wait for you guys to hear it!!! Blak Laz – So Dyzfunktional
What’s good everyone!!! Today is a very monumental day! As you all know, JQ Lamaj and myself have been in the studio with Blak Laz, working on his debut album Tha Madman Memoirs. Blak Laz’s album is way over due, and it’s only a matter of time before the world can hear his words. The reason why today is so monumental is because we are releasing his debut single “So Dyzfunktional”, produced by yours truly!!! It’s only a little taste of the album. But, don’t get it twisted. My man’s isn’t all clubs, chains, and whips. He’s on some real stuff. But, ya’ll are going to have to wait to hear the rest of the album. For now, download his debut single and enjoy bumpin it. If you like it, please, please, please help us spread the word and let at least one of your friends know. The best publicity is word of mouth and we will need your help. So, without further delay, I present to you “So Dyzfunktional”.
Sofa King Dope: Volume I
What’s going on folks! My mixtape Sofa King Dope: Volume I is now available, for free! Sofa King Dope is an on-going series of mixtapes that I will be releasing. I named it Sofa King Dope because I feel like the artists I put on there are just that; they’re dope! This series is going to have old and new songs. It won’t necessarily be just Hip Hop. I will be incorporating other genres. You might hear The Killers mixed with some J. Dilla, or Ryan Leslie mixed with Incubus. Whatever I’m feeling at the time I’m making the mixtape is what I will be putting on there. My goal is to put out a Sofa King Dope mixtape every month. However, that might not happen because essentially, it’s quality over quantity. Feel free to take a listen and let me know what you think. You can download the mixtape from the “Media” section of my website, or you can click on the link below:
